The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for Commodity and School Feeding (CSF) will work closely with the Chief of Party (COP) to oversee the USDA-funded HATUTAN Program which aims to improve literacy, health and nutrition outcomes in Timor-Leste schools in the 4 targeted municipalities/region which include pre-primary, primary, and upper-primary grade level students and their catchment communities. This position, supervised by the COP, will provide technical oversight and support toward achieving program results and ensuring quality implementation of proven, high-impact interventions. The DCOP-CSF will be the program lead for commodity management and integrating best food management practices in the school feeding program. The DCOP-CSF will support the preparation and finalization of semi-annual and annual project activity reports, leading on specific inputs related to the School Feeding Program, Commodity Management and related issues, and related annual reporting against targets and McGovern Dole indicators. In coordination with the COP, the DCOP-CSF will coordinate with key project partners, stakeholders, other USG implementing partners, and the government of Timor-Leste, particularly at the sub-national level. S/he will provide strategic oversight and technical guidance to, and resolve challenges in the implementation of, cross-sectoral activities reflective of the program’s theory of change, logical framework, monitoring and evaluation, and relevant work plans, encouraging efficiency in program delivery.
